A braai fan that won't fray or catch alight. The Paddle is a solid plate of spring steel laminated in genuine leather and stitched with Kevlar®, so it moves large amounts of air with every flick of the wrist. A white oak handle gives you a firm grip, and a custom brass D-ring lets you hang it up between fires. When the coals are fading or the pizza oven needs waking up, a few strong flicks get the fire roaring again. The second most fun you'll have with a flick of your wrist.

Care
Your Paddle will collect flakes of ash. Wipe it with a damp cloth after the fire, and now and then work in some leather food or wax to keep the leather soft. As with anything, don't leave it lying in the flames.

The Paddle is made from spring steel laminated in genuine leather and stitched with fire-resistant Kevlar. We don’t use cotton stitching because it would fray and burn. Kevlar has a high burn threshold, meaning it can handle serious heat. That said, like any tool, don’t leave it sitting in the flames.
Use it when your fire needs big gusts of air. If your coals are fading or you need to quickly build heat, a few strong flicks will feed oxygen into the fire and wake it up.
