Firstly, the order with engraving took 3 days. That blew my mind. Secondly, I was amased by the engineering and the machining involved. I appreciate real manufacturing processes. This is a masterpiece. Well done team. I am impressed.
I got the tongs and the blower for my husband, and the long tongs are very practical and useful - amazing how often I see people moving logs quickly with short tongs to not burn their hands!
The shorter tongs pick up / turn over / manage food on the braai better than ANYTHING we have used before.
Last but not least, the blower, pride in place on the mantle, and used daily to start our evening fires, relight a dying fire, speed up the process, you name it. Not only is it surprisingly super useful, it is elegant, absolutely stunning, and so cleverly designed and crafted, it is literally the best tool we have in our house. Huge Ups to the DLT team!
I bought one for my cousin in Ladysmith. We used it to keep the fire going in a home made smoker. It worked beautifully. He was so chuffed!
Hello Barry.
Thank you for your email. We're sure it works like a bomb with a smoker! Glad it's working well. Happy braai'ing!
Works more effectively than I imagined. Workmanship better that expected. Congrats to making a special product
David jou lekker ding! Appreciate the fantastic feedback!
We hope you keep on bringing the heat to the meat.
My husband is the best braaier I know, so for his birthday I bought him the blower, he is so super impressed with the blower, we regularly do overlanding and wild camping and it’s the perfect tool to have!
Travelling to remote locations with the right tools is vital and it makes the trip a whole lot better! Keep grilling and chilling!
“Amazingly awesome, high-quality products!!!

Great product, well made and very clever design. No more burned eyebrows
I am giving the blower to my son for Christmas so I will not be able to say anything until after Christmas.
I am very excited to give this to him🙌
Great quilting
A quality product! So beautifully made, solid ... great craftsmanship. And it works so well with minimal effort. My husband just loves it.
Beautiful and very efficient tool.
All Donkey products are pristine, handcrafted works of art, but the blower has the finest engineering and is my personal favourite. The quality in hand is bar none and I highly recommend it and all the other products.
Received my Blower on 25/08 and it is exactly what I ordered. Great quality product perfectly described on the website.
High quality product with excellent service! What a great combination.
I purchased the blower as well as the long tong for my husband's birthday and he was over the moon with the gift, especially the blower. He literally used it the entire long weekend and we had to keep eyes on our friends as all of them wanted one! The craftmanship & quality is out of this world and it is a game changer!! I will recommend this to any avid braaier!! Thank you guys!
Great, functional product, with good service delivery and communication throughout the delivery process.
Got one for my birthday. Great product. My son dubbed me the “Fire Jedi” , with a sabre like this😀

FAQs about the blower
Use the Blower for precision airflow, like when you’re starting a fire, reviving last night’s coals or targeting one stubborn hot spot without disturbing the whole fire. Use the Paddle for big gusts of air when your fire needs a strong boost. If you work with a variety of fires and fire setups, you'll want both.
Fire needs oxygen to burn. The adjustable nozzle lets you control how much air you introduce. More oxygen increases combustion and heat. Less oxygen gives you controlled encouragement without sending ash everywhere.
The adjustable jet nozzle has 5 positions. If the arrow points to “DONKEY,” the nozzle is closed. Settings 1 through 5 control airflow intensity, 1 being gentle airflow, 5 being maximum output. Adjust based on what your fire needs.
For reviving coals, settings 1 or 2 are usually enough. For starting a fire from scratch, try 3 to 5.
Set your airflow level, position the nozzle near the heart of the fire and blow steadily. Controlled air equals controlled heat.
Yes. It’s especially effective indoors where airflow is limited. It's ideal for indoor fireplaces, wood-burning stoves, and braai rooms where you can't rely on wind to help your fire along.
Wash with warm soapy water after use. Run water through the pipe and nozzle to clear ash. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
The Blower is made with high-quality materials and built to last a lifetime. If you experience any issues, please contact us directly and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Yes, it’s packaged and ready to impress on arrival! We use a special handwrapping technique that will score you some serious brownie points.
Please note: the courier waybill is stuck to the outer packaging. If you’re sending it directly as a gift and don’t want the shipping label visible, leave us a note at checkout and we’ll double wrap it for you.
